Multiple quayside cranes at Haitong Terminal have long-used pitching wire ropes. Visual and basic tools cannot accurately assess degradation, especially internal damage and broken wires.

At client's request, our technicians used a professional wire rope NDT detector to inspect those long-used pitching ropes. The detector quantifies and locates broken wires, wear, corrosion, fatigue, etc. caused by strength loss, and auto-generates reports to support rope replacement decisions.
